Spiritual Care
Spiritual CareAs part of the care offered for residents, families and staff we have a full time Chaplain, a Salvation Army minister, available to assist with emotional and spiritual needs. We believe that a listening ear is one of the most precious gifts a Chaplain can give. Chaplains recognize that we are all at different places in our spiritual journeys and are trained to assist people from varied religious backgrounds as well as those who have no formal religious beliefs.

The Chaplain may assist a resident in the adjustment to their new home at Golden West Centennial Lodge and offer support in times of illness and sorrow. Chaplains facilitate religious rites and ceremonies no matter which faith you practice. The Chaplains are available to pray with you and if so desired can assist a resident to reconnect with their own faith community.

Residents' choices are fully respected in defining their spiritual needs.
